Trillevallen, located in the southern Åre mountains, is a ski paradise for all ages. The Högfjällshotellet opened its doors in 1939, and the first tow lift was built in 1970. The ski resort now features 8 lifts and 22 slopes of varying difficulty, along with a slope-side restaurant offering stunning views of the mountains.

Here, many wonderful mountain traditions thrive, and the one we cherish the most is our hospitality.

During 2022 and 2023, the hotel underwent renovations, carefully preserving the authentic mountain charm from the past. Trillevallens Fjällhotell has 40 rooms with a total of 126 beds. Under the same roof, you’ll find a restaurant offering delicious mountain flavors, a cozy and relaxed lounge bar, meeting facilities, a sauna, and a relaxation area.

Job Openings at Trillevallens Mountain Hotel

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team for the 2025 season in the following positions:

Maitre d’ for Our Dining Room/Bar
As a maitre d’, you will primarily work evening shifts. Your duties will include welcoming and seating guests, handling reservations and inquiries, leading and coordinating the service team according to our established routines, ensuring excellent hospitality, managing cash transactions, serving and managing a small station, overseeing smooth cooperation between the kitchen and service staff, and overseeing beverage orders. This position runs from December 19 to April 27 at 75% time.

Service and Bar Staff
We are seeking individuals with a couple of years of experience in service and bar work for our dining room/bar. Evenings involve serving dinner for pension and conference guests, as well as running a relaxed bar where guests can unwind in the sofas after a day on the slopes. Positions are available from December 20 to April 27 at 75%, or from February 8 to April 27 at 75%.

Morning Breakfast Staff
We are looking for morning-friendly individuals to prepare and plan the breakfast buffet, set out the hot dishes, clear tables, wash dishes, and clean. One position runs from December 21 to April 27 at 75%, and another from February 8 to April 27 at 75%.

Two Cooks
We offer a two-course “set menu” each evening and a simpler bar menu, serving only during the evening. These positions are full-time (100%) from December 15 to April 27, and you will be part of a team of three people.

Slope-side restaurant Ripan

Ripan is located right on the slope, offering a prime spot for skiers and visitors. The restaurant can accommodate 125 guests and features a cozy lounge area, a warming fireplace, and a sunny terrace with expansive views of the southern mountain ranges. Ripan serves the daily skier’s lunch, pizza, and light refreshments, and it’s open as long as the lifts are operating, starting from 9:30 AM. On Fridays, Ripan hosts special pizza evenings, providing a perfect end to a day on the slopes.

Restaurant Staff We are looking for restaurant staff for Ripan, which is open for skier’s lunches, coffee breaks, après-ski, and some evening events. The work involves simple serving tasks, cash handling, bar duties, cleaning, and dishwashing. These positions are available from December 19 to April 27 at 85% time.
Two Cooks We are also seeking two cooks for Ripan. The restaurant offers a varied lunch menu, coffee, and pizza. These full-time positions (100%) are available from December 19 to April 27, and you will be part of a team of three people.

Trillevallens Ski Resort

Trillevallens Ski Resort offers a variety of slopes to suit all skill levels, from gently sloping beginner trails to steep black runs for more experienced skiers. Both a ski school and ski rental services are conveniently located right next to the lift system, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the slopes, whether you’re just starting out or looking for a challenge.

Ski-Lift Operators – We are looking for lift operators who enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions and understand that providing excellent service and teamwork creates value for our guests, your team, and yourself. These positions are full-time (100%) from December 19 to April 27, with additional positions available from February 10 to April 27.
Kiosk Attendant – We are seeking a kiosk attendant for Våffelvagnen, which serves coffee, waffles, and more, located in the children’s area. This position is 85% from February 7 to April 27.
Piste Machine Operator – We are looking for a piste machine operator. The primary working hours are from 3:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This full-time position (100%) is available from December 4 to April 27.
Lift Ticket Sales and Guest Service Staff – We are hiring for our lift ticket sales and guest service team. The role involves selling lift tickets and providing guest services from December 15 to April 27, and it is a full-time position (100%).
