The Dining Room

The dining room at Högfjällshotellet offers an authentic culinary experience in the heart of Trillevallen. During the winter season, guests can enjoy a delightful mountain breakfast and delicious two-course pension dinners. In the summer, the dining room is open for breakfast, group bookings, and other large events. Regardless of the season, the dining room at Högfjällshotellet promises a flavorful experience in a relaxing, scenic, and historic setting.

Welcome to be seated

If you’re not staying at Högfjällshotellet but still wish to dine with us, it’s possible depending on availability. The easiest way is to email your request with plenty of advance notice.

Breakfast

During opening hours, a delicious mountain breakfast is served for Högfjällshotellet’s guests. External guests are also welcome to enjoy the breakfast, which can be pre-booked by calling +46 (0)647 – 360 90.

The Dining Room

For all hotel guests who have booked half-board, a two-course menu is included every evening, along with a salad buffet, homemade bread, and spreads.
Vegetarian options are available for both adults and children—just let us know when you book your room.
Special menus apply for Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and Easter Eve.
(We reserve the right to make changes to certain ingredients.)

Downstairs in the Bar, there is also a cozy mountain-inspired menu to enjoy whenever hunger strikes.

  • Starter – Roasted butternut squash soup
    Served with served with fried fennel
  • Main Course – Grilled pork chop from Swedish rapeseed-fed pork

    Served with crispy parsley root flavored with Västerbotten cheese and a chimichurri

  • Children’s Dish – Meatballs with cream sauce
    Served with lingonberries and almond potato purée

    Served with potato wedges and béarnaise sauce

    Served in lettuce leaves with charred onion cream, pickled silver onions and fried capers

Trillevallen is a year-round destination with a wide range of activities for all ages and preferences.

In winter, it offers alpine skiing on well-groomed slopes, cross-country and backcountry skiing on scenic trails, and guided tours through the magnificent mountain environment. In summer, the area transforms into a paradise for hiking, fishing, gravel cycling, and kayaking.
